Not all uncapping knives for beekeeping are created equal. For this job you will need a quality product. These knives are specially imported from Portugal for uncapping frames. A very sharp knife with offset handle and a center ridge, designed specifically for cutting the wax cappings from a frame of honey. These cold knives are ideal for harvesting a few hives.Note: Dipping the blade into a pan of hot water between cuts makes the uncapping easy. For even easier uncapping, purchase two uncapping knives. Uncap with one and leave the other in a pan of hot water. Once the first knife cools, just switch knives. Makes the job fly by!
